By inhibiting an enzyme (carbonic anhydrase) involved in the production of a fluid called aqueous humor in the eye and reducing aqueous humor production, intraocular pressure (IOP) is lowered, thus inhibiting visual field deterioration.
It is commonly used to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Properties
Aqueous suspension eye drops (sterile preparation)
Ingredients
In 1 mL: 10 mg of buspirone
Additives: Carboxyvinyl polymer, teloxaprol, D-mannitol, sodium chloride, ethylenediamine tetrahydrate hydrate, concentrated benzalkonium chloride solution 50, pH adjuster
Indications
The following are conditions where the treatment is ineffective or contraindicated for other glaucoma treatments: glaucoma, high intraocular pressure.
Dosage and administration
Normally, administer 1 drop twice a day. If the effect is insufficient, administer 1 drop three times a day.

Precautions
●The main side effects are as follows. Consult a doctor promptly if you experience any of them.
- Keratitis, conjunctival congestion, eye pain, blurred vision, eye discomfort, foreign body sensation, blepharitis, perspiration (bitter taste in the mouth after infusion), nausea, fatigue, headache, etc.
