Product Features
In the distal renal tubules, aldosterone promotes the excretion of sodium and water through direct action, relieving edema. It also reduces intravascular blood flow and lowers blood pressure through its antagonistic effect on aldosterone.
It is generally applicable to the treatment of hypertension (primary, renal), cardiac edema (congestive heart failure), renal edema, hepatic edema, idiopathic edema, etc., and also for the diagnosis and symptom improvement of primary aldosteronism.
