Dosage and administration

[For preventative use]
Normally, adults and children take 2 sachets (10mg main ingredient) once a day for 10 days using a specialized inhaler. Always follow the instructions for use.
Start using within 1.5 days of exposure to an infected person with influenza virus.
The preventive effect against influenza virus infection only lasts during the period of continuous use of this medication.
If you have a chronic respiratory disease (such as bronchial asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and are using it in combination with other inhaled medications for treating chronic respiratory diseases (such as short-acting bronchodilators), please use this medication before using this medication.
Use the dedicated inhaler for oral inhalation only. Carefully read the instruction manual (リレンザの吸臥法) for instructions on how to install the medication and how to inhale it (薬の装着方法、吸臥方法). Please adopt a relaxed posture (sitting position, etc.) when inhaling.
If you forget to inhale at the indicated time, inhale one dose (2 sachets) upon realizing it. However, if the next usage time is very close, skip one dose. Do not inhale two doses at the same time.
In case of aspiration, please consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use without a doctor's instructions.

[For therapeutic use]

When using this medication for treatment, it should be used within 2 days of the onset of flu symptoms.
