It selectively blocks enzymes (neuraminidase) present on the surface of influenza A or B viruses, preventing newly formed viruses from infecting cells and inhibiting influenza virus proliferation.
It is typically used to treat influenza A or B virus infections.

Treatment and prevention of influenza A or B virus infection.
Dosage and administration
1. Treatment for adults: 40 mg of the main component in a single inhalation.
Children: For children under 10 years of age, a single inhalation of 20 mg of the main ingredient is recommended.
For children aged 10 and older, a single inhalation of the main component is 40 mg.
When using this treatment, begin as soon as symptoms are noticed. [There is no data demonstrating its effectiveness in patients who started medication more than 48 hours after symptom onset.]
2. For prevention in adults: Inhale 40mg of the main ingredient once a day. Alternatively, inhale 20mg once a day for two days.
Children: For children under 10 years of age, a single inhalation of 20 mg of the main ingredient is recommended.
For children aged 10 and above, a single inhalation of 40mg of the main ingredient is recommended. Alternatively, 20mg can be inhaled once daily for two days.
For preventative measures, please note the following two points when using it.
(1) Start medication within 2 days of exposure to an infected person. [There is no data demonstrating the effectiveness of medication in patients who started treatment more than 48 hours after exposure.]
(2) The preventive effect of this drug on influenza infection 10 days after the start of administration has not been established.
